KreditBee is looking for an Automation Tester with strong Python skills to join our QA team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test suites that keep our products reliable, secure and release-ready. This role needs hands-on automation experience; we are not considering profiles with only manual testing exposure.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain automation test scripts using Python and the Pytest framework

- Build and enhance reusable, scalable automation frameworks

- Execute automated test suites, analyse failures and report defects with clear steps to reproduce

- Work closely with developers, product managers and manual QA to understand requirements and define test coverage

- Identify opportunities to automate regression and repetitive test scenarios

- Contribute to test planning, test case design and test data preparation





- Participate in release cycles and ensure quality at every stage of delivery

- Maintain test documentation and track defects to closure

Required Skills (Mandatory)

- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing

- Strong programming skills in Python

- Practical experience with the Pytest framework

- Good understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle

- Strong analytical and debugging skills

Good to Have

- Experience with API testing (Postman, Requests library, REST Assured or similar)

- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI

- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows

- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation

- Experience with Selenium or Appium

- Prior experience in a fintech or lending domain
