Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing, framework development, and quality assurance practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java and/or Playwright automation, along with strong knowledge of API testing, test frameworks, and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver with Java and/or Playwright.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools like TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber BDD, or similar frameworks.
- Create reusable automation components using design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM).
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing. • Analyze requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and automation strategies.
- Perform UI automation testing across multiple browsers and platforms. • Perform API testing and automation using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
- Identify, debug, and resolve automation script failures.
- Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Maintain automation code repositories using Git.
- Generate and analyze automation execution reports.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners,



and QA teams to ensure quality delivery.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber BDD.
- Good understanding of Java programming concepts (OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling).
- Experience in designing automation frameworks and reusable components.
- Strong knowledge of XPath, CSS selectors, locators, waits, and handling agile elements.
- Experience with API testing using Postman and/or Rest Assured.
- Good understanding of SQL for backend validation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working with version control tools like Git.

Preferred Skills

- Hands-on experience with Playwright automation using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with mobile automation using Appium.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
