Job Summary

IKS Health is hiring experienced Prior Authorization Specialists for its Revenue Optimization Process in Chennai. Candidates should have experience in US Healthcare, Prior Authorization, Insurance Verification, and Medical Record Analysis.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Handle prior authorization requests for medical services and procedures.
- Initiate, process, and follow up on authorization requests with US insurance companies.
- Review patient medical records using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Verify patient insurance eligibility, coverage, and active status.




- Coordinate with insurance payers through online portals and phone calls.
- Maintain accurate authorization records and documentation.
- Identify and resolve authorization discrepancies.
- Follow insurance guidelines and compliance procedures.
- Escalate complex authorization issues when required.

Required Skills
- Minimum 1+ year of relevant experience.
- Prior Authorization experience in US Healthcare preferred.
- Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
- Experience with Insurance Verification and Eligibility.
- Knowledge of EHR and Medical Records.
- Familiarity with US healthcare insurance processes.
- Valuable communication and analytical skills.
- Willingness to work in night shifts.
