Reporting To: Senior Financial Controller

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Audit Assistant to support the Senior Financial Controller in managing internal audits and strengthening internal controls across a multi-specialty hospital group.

The candidate will be responsible for conducting day-to-day checks, reconciliations, audit follow-ups, and assisting with SOP implementation and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Internal Audit

- Conduct audits as per the audit calendar, covering billing, cash, pharmacy, procurement, payroll, canteen, and hotel operations.
- Prepare audit working papers and report observations.

1. Observation Follow-up

- Maintain the audit observation tracker.
- Follow up with different departments to ensure timely closure of audit observations.

1. Revenue and Cash Control

- Perform daily reconciliation of billing, collections, cash, and bank transactions.
- Verify bills, discounts, cancellations,



and TPA/insurance documentation.
- Support the analysis of insurance claim rejections.

1. Vendor and Stores Checks

- Verify PO, GRN, and invoice matching.
- Support vendor reconciliation.
- Conduct stock verification in pharmacy and stores.

1. SOP Support

- Assist in drafting SOPs and audit checklists.
- Monitor compliance with implemented SOPs.

1. MIS and Compliance Support

- Prepare audit MIS and exception reports.
- Maintain records for GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and statutory audits.

Qualifications and Experience
- B.Com / M.Com is required.
- CA Inter, CMA Inter, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in audit or accounts.
- Hospital or healthcare industry experience will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Working knowledge of Tally/ERP and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
- Strong attention to detail, honesty, and ability to work independently across locations.
