Role & responsibilities manage and monitor Quality Control activities in the manufacturing of industrial valves for nuclear, power, and other critical applications. Ensure that all products, materials, manufacturing processes, and inspection activities comply with customer specifications, approved drawings, applicable international standards, and stringent nuclear industry quality requirements.

1. Manage day-to-day Quality Control activities in valve manufacturing.
2. Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
3. Inspect industrial valves such as:

- Gate Valves
- Globe Valves
- Ball Valves
- Butterfly Valves
- Check Valves
- Control Valves
- Safety and Relief Valves

1. Ensure dimensional inspection as per approved drawings and specifications.
2. Verify material grades, traceability, and material test certificates (MTC).
3. Monitor machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and finishing quality.
4. Ensure inspection records are properly maintained and documented.
5. Ensure compliance with applicable nuclear industry quality requirements.
6. Understand and implement relevant codes and standards such as:





- ASME Section III Nuclear Components.
- ASME Section IX Welding Qualifications.
- ASME Section V Non-Destructive Examination.
- ASME B16 series – Valves and related components.
- RCC-M requirements, wherever applicable.
- ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering – Preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
- Experience in industrial valve manufacturing is mandatory.
- Exposure to nuclear, power plant, oil & gas, or other critical engineering industries preferred.
- Experience in MNC or reputed valve manufacturing companies will be an advantage.
