1. Job responsibilities

- Responsible for the EHS/Environment Section day-to-day activity like operations of ETP,STP, MEE, ATFD,RO,OWC,Lab,Incinerator,Spray dryer etc

- Issuing of Permit for plant activity (ETP/MEE/ATFD/RO/OWC/Incinerator/Decontamination such as General work, hot work & vessel entry &
- Height work etc.

- To monitor operating results and report abnormalities to your immediate boss on issues affecting Safety, Environment, Quality, Energy and Profitability.

- Follow up with engineering dept/Store/HR/Production/EHS for of Waste Management Centre.

- Proper communication with Customers for smooth functioning of plants.

- Hazardous and Non Hazardous Waste collection, storage and disposal as per SOP &

- Haz Waste Rule 2026

- Decontamination/Washing shed functioning as per SOP.

- Responsible for overall performance of the Setting section in terms of statutory compliance.

- Day to day data monitoring of respective area. Reporting of Near miss/unsafe Act-condition

- Co-ordinate with Gujarat Pollution control board/Statutory visits for Water &

- Air &
- Hazardous waste etc.

- Co-ordinate with third party consultant for Air, water sampling Work place monitoring etc

- Co ordination with 3R/GEPIL/RSPL/SEPPL/BEIL for Hazardous waste disposal

- Proper Functioning of Environment Lab.

- On job training to ETP FTT/Operators/helpers/plant side.

- Responsible for IMS, Climate Change, Waste Management awareness.





- EHS document updating.

- PPEs issuing & stock

- Co ordination with others dept for EHS related work

- On job training to at plant site.

- Record keeping and updating.

- Support to safety and environment awareness &

- Training programme

- Responsible for reducing ENCON in your area of work

- Responsible for communicating contents of all the Policies to all team members

- Responsible to understand all the Policies (EnMS , QMS,EHS , Etc) of the unit.

- Responsible to operate in an energy efficient way, with zero incidents relating to safety, Health, Environment &

- Quality.

- Responsible for monitoring and measuring all IMS performance indicators.

- To ensure optimum utilisation of available equipment, facility and people for ENCON.

- To monitor operating results and report abnormalities to your immediate boss on issues affecting Safety, Environment, Quality, Energy and Profitability.

- Responsible for energy efficient operations and activities with focus on Climate Change aspect.

- Institutionalize process for employee appreciation, recognition, employee discipline, safe behaviour, ENCON, employee engagement etc.

- Responsible for full compliance to all the applicable laws of the organization including those of ENCON.

- By product (Haz Waste) disposal to registered recyclers, etc.

- Daily reporting to Environment Section head.
