Role & responsibilities
1. Bill the items customers buy at the cash counter quickly and accurately, using the computer and the shop's billing and accounting software.
2. Handle customers confidently at the counter, including regular customers who ask for discounts.
3. Supervise the shop floor and the staff during working hours.
4. Keep the books and enter purchase bills into the system.
5. Print stock tags for current stock.
Preferred candidate profile
1. At least 1 year of work experience.
2. Speaks English, Hindi and Kannada well.
3. Lives less than 45 minutes from Commercial Street, Bengaluru.
4. Comfortable with computers, billing software and basic book keeping.
5. Smart, confident and well dressed.
6. Bold and calm with customers, especially when customers bargain.
