Role & responsibilities

1. Contract Structuring, Drafting & Negotiation

Structure, draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of commercial contracts including but not limited to content licensing,

acquisition, syndication, telecom, IT, ISP, digital distribution, and production agreements.

Align deal terms with company interests while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

2. Strategic Legal Advisory & Risk Management

Provide day-to-day legal counsel to business teams on transactional, compliance, and regulatory matters.

Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks in strategic and high-value deals.

Handle pre-litigation matters and internal dispute resolution support.

3. Legal Research, Policy & Knowledge Building

Stay updated on industry trends, IP laws,



and regulatory developments relevant to media and tech businesses.

Conduct research and support submissions to regulatory authorities.

Standardize contract templates and maintain process checklists for faster deal closures.

4. Legal Capability Building & Cross-functional Collaboration

Mentor and train junior legal team members and promote process efficiency.

Work closely with senior business leadership to frame policies, promote legal awareness, and ensure organization-wide

compliance.

Foster team-oriented working relationships with internal stakeholders across business functions.
