Qualification: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Mandatory

Job Summary

Seeking a Legal Associate with 1–3 years of experience in document vetting and handling matters under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. The role involves reviewing legal documents,

ensuring compliance, supporting litigation, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Vet, review, and draft legal documents, agreements, notices, and contracts.

- Handle documentation relating to Section 138 matters (Cheque Bounce cases).

- Prepare legal notices and supporting documents.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advocates.

- Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions.

- Maintain legal records and case files.

- Ensure legal compliance and support litigation documentation.

Required Skills

- Robust document vetting and drafting skills.

- Knowledge of Section 138 proceedings.

- Legal research and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in MS Office.

Preferred Profile

LLB graduate with 1–3 years of experience in a law firm, NBFC, bank, or corporate legal department.
