BazaarNow is building quick commerce for smaller towns in India, combining everyday value with an assortment shaped by local needs.

The role

Own our Dairy portfolio: milk, curd, paneer, butter, ghee, cheese and other fresh dairy, sourced from national brands, regional dairies, cooperative unions and distributors such as Amul, Nandini, Milky Mist, Godrej Jersey and Heritage.

This is a hands-on, on-ground role: keep stores stocked every day, control expiry and wastage, and travel frequently across cities to source.

What you'll own

- Sourcing: Onboard national brands, regional dairies and unions. Negotiate margins, schemes, payment terms and delivery schedules.
- Multi-vendor supply: Bring vendors with different pricing, ordering and delivery setups into one dependable plan, with backup sources for key products.
- Replenishment: Place daily direct-to-store orders. Track fill rates, delivery timeliness and in-stock levels, and close gaps the same day.
- Expiry and wastage: Keep stock cover tight for short shelf-life products. Manage near-expiry stock, damages,



returns and credit notes.
- Assortment and seasonality: Choose brands, packs and price points for each town, and plan for festivals and seasonal demand.
- Margins and promotions: Secure written brand commitments, validate invoices and follow claims through to reconciliation.
- Field travel: Visit union sites, dairy plants, distributors and stores to source, audit supply and fix issues on the ground.

What we're looking for
- 1–3 years of experience in category management, buying, procurement, e-commerce or FMCG sales. Dairy or fresh experience is a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently across cities.
- Strong analytical skills and hands-on comfort with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Comfort managing many vendors and daily operational pressure.
- Kannada, Telugu or Tamil preferred, for working with local vendors and unions.
- High energy, attention to detail and ownership through closure.
- Willingness to question standard assumptions and plan from actual local demand.
