Pastry & Bakery Chef Instructor – Food Consulate, Chennai

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000/month (based on experience)

Love pastry and want to teach it? Food Consulate is a culinary academy in Chennai training the next generation of pastry and bakery professionals. We're looking for a hands-on pastry chef to join our teaching kitchen.

What you'll do

- Run and support practical pastry & bakery classes
- Demonstrate techniques: viennoiserie, entremets, plated desserts, breads, finishing & presentation




- Guide students hands-on and help with assessments
- Keep the kitchen hygienic, safe, and disciplined; handle mise en place and class prep

You'll fit if you have
- Diploma/degree in Pastry, Bakery, or Culinary Arts
- Minimum 3 years in a hotel, patisserie, or standalone bakery (Demi Chef / CDP Pastry / Pastry Chef)
- Strong practical skills, plus patience and clear communication
- Interest in teaching (prior training experience is a plus)
