Role Description

Xtovia is looking for a commercially driven Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, analysis, and management across its D2C business, e-commerce marketplaces, quick-commerce platforms, and in-house manufacturing operations.

The role will involve financial planning and forecasting, cash flow management, profitability analysis, manufacturing cost control, channel-level performance tracking, and statutory compliance. The candidate will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, operations, manufacturing, and supply chain to improve financial performance across all business channels.

The Finance Manager will also support Xtovias next fundraising round by developing financial models, business projections, investor reports, and supporting financial due diligence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, P&L; management, and financial planning.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, gross margins, contribution margins, and overall profitability.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, management dashboards, and performance reviews for leadership.




- Identify cost optimization opportunities and provide data-driven business recommendations.

2. D2C, Marketplace & Quick-Commerce Finance

- Track and analyse financial performance across Xtovia’s D2C website, e-commerce marketplaces, and quick-commerce platforms.
- Monitor channel-wise revenue, profitability, commissions, platform fees, advertising spends, discounts, and promotional costs.
- Analyse settlement statements, payment cycles, deductions, returns, cancellations, and claims to ensure accurate reconciliations.
- Evaluate channel-level contribution margins and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Track marketplace and quick-commerce advertising spends, promotional investments, and return on investment.
- Support pricing, discounting, and promotional decisions based on channel economics.
- Monitor receivables and working capital across platforms, ensuring timely settlements and accurate reporting.

3. Manufacturing & Inventory Finance

- Manage financial reporting for Xtovia’s in-house manufacturing operations.
- Track raw material costs, packaging costs, production expenses, labour, and manufacturing overheads.
- Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS), product-level manufacturing costs, and gross margins.
- Oversee inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, production wastage, and working capital tied up in inventory.
- Work with manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain teams to improve cost efficiency and production planning.

4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

- Monitor cash flow, cash burn, liquidity, and working capital requirements.
- Manage receivables, payables, inventory funding, and platform settlement cycles.
- Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts to support business growth.
- Ensure efficient allocation of funds across marketing, operations, manufacturing, and sales channels.

5. Accounting,



Compliance & Financial Controls

- Oversee accounting processes, financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain robust financial controls.
- Reconcile platform settlements, commissions, fees, deductions, and applicable taxes.
- Work with external consultants, auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
- 2–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in finance, FP&A;, or financial management, preferably in D2C, e-commerce, consumer brands, retail, or manufacturing.
- Experience managing finances across D2C, e-commerce marketplaces, and/or quick-commerce platforms is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, P&L; management, and cash flow analysis.
- Experience in manufacturing finance, including product costing, raw material costing, inventory valuation, production overheads, and gross margin analysis.
- Strong financial modelling and Excel skills, including building business projections, dashboards, and management reports.
- Understanding of channel-level profitability, platform commissions, advertising costs, promotional spends, settlement reconciliations, and working capital.
- Familiarity with D2C and e-commerce metrics, including CAC, LTV, contribution margins, customer retention, and channel profitability.
- Experience in fundraising support, investor reporting, financial due diligence, or fundraising financial models will be highly valued.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, GST, taxation, statutory compliance, audit processes, and financial controls.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to work full-time, on-site in Hyderabad.
