Job Summary

Responsible for managing and coordinating end-to-end freight forwarding operations, including import and export shipments through air and sea. The role involves handling customer requirements, coordinating with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, customs brokers and transporters, ensuring timely shipment execution, cost control and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end import and export freight forwarding operations (Air & Sea).
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, customs brokers and transporters for smooth shipment execution.
- Handle customer enquiries, prepare freight quotations, negotiate rates and follow up on business opportunities.
- Monitor shipment schedules, documentation, cargo movement and delivery timelines.
- Ensure proper coordination for booking, customs clearance, transportation and final delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities to generate new business.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates with vendors and overseas agents to ensure cost efficiency.
- Handle customer queries, operational issues and shipment-related escalations.




- Ensure timely invoicing, documentation, payment follow-ups and coordination with the accounts team.
- Monitor operational performance, shipment profitability and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with applicable shipping, customs and international trade regulations.
- Guide and supervise team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline; a qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain Management will be preferred.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea).
- Robust knowledge of import and export procedures and shipping documentation.
- Good understanding of freight rates, customs clearance and international logistics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
- Customer-focused with good problem-solving and team-management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and freight forwarding software.
