Role Description The Assistant Accountant role is a full time, on-site position based in Rajkot. The role involves assisting with daily accounting tasks such as recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing vouchers, and supporting basic bookkeeping activities.

The Assistant

Accountant will help with invoice processing, expense tracking, and reconciliation of bank statements and accounts. The position also includes supporting senior accounting staff with preparation of reports, documentation for audits, and data entry into accounting software. Collaboration with internal teams, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to accounting standards and company policies are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

- Foundational accounting and bookkeeping skills, including knowledge of ledgers, journal entries, and basic financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office applications,



particularly Excel for spreadsheets and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and ability to manage routine tasks efficiently.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy office environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and handling financial documentation.
- Educational background in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g., B.Com or equivalent qualification).
- Willingness to learn, follow established processes, and comply with relevant financial and compliance guidelines.
