We are looking for a skilled Powder Coating Operator to operate and maintain powder coating equipment, ensure proper surface finishing, and meet quality standards in a sheet metal manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate powder coating equipment, spray guns, and curing ovens.
2. Prepare metal components through cleaning, pretreatment, and surface preparation.
3. Ensure proper powder application, coating thickness, uniformity, and finish quality.
4. Monitor oven temperature, curing time, and other process parameters.
5. Perform routine checks on coating equipment and report maintenance requirements.
6. Identify and rectify coating defects such as pinholes, orange peel, uneven coating, and poor adhesion.
7. Maintain production records and follow standard operating procedures.
8. Ensure proper handling of powder materials and minimize wastage.
9. Follow workplace safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the coating area.
10. Coordinate with the quality and production teams to meet daily production targets.





Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in powder coating operations.
- Knowledge of metal surface preparation and pretreatment processes.
- Understanding of coating defects and corrective actions.
- Ability to operate spray guns and monitor curing oven parameters.
- Basic knowledge of quality inspection instruments and coating thickness measurement.
- Awareness of industrial safety practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in sheet metal fabrication or industrial surface finishing.
- Ability to work in shifts, if required.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
