Position: Architectural Draughtsman

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Architectural Draughtsman to join our design team. This role involves preparing precise technical drawings for a variety of building typesincluding commercial, educational, institutional, and residential projects—based on architects’ sketches and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in CAD software, a solid grasp of architectural drafting principles, and the ability to translate design intent into accurate construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed working drawings from architects’ sketches and instructions.
- Use CAD software (AutoCAD/ZWCAD) to incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and construction details.
- Print and organize CAD drawings for use by architects, engineers, and project managers.




- Conduct site visits to take measurements and prepare as-built drawings when required.
- Collaborate closely with architects to ensure compliance with building specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Requirements:

- Diploma in Architecture or ITI certification in architectural drafting (or equivalent).
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD or ZWCAD.
- Strong understanding of sketching fundamentals and design principles.
- High attention to detail and mathematical accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
