About the Company The organisation provides in-process testing and measurement software, including electronic signature analysis and IPT technology, helping manufacturers detect defects and understand process behaviour on the factory floor.

About the Role

As an Application Engineer, you will deploy test systems at automotive OEM and Tier-1 customer sites across India and internationally. You will build and configure applications that acquire, process and analyse data from sensors and gauging equipment on machining and assembly lines, and manage projects from application development to on-site commissioning.

What You Will Do

1. Travel to customer sites to deploy and commission industrial testing systems in manufacturing environments.
2. Program and configure application software to collect and process data from instruments such as load cells, pressure transducers, encoders, measurement lasers and accelerometers.
3. Apply filtering, smoothing and statistical analysis techniques to identify defects and anomalies in manufacturing processes.
4. Interface testing hardware with third-party devices, PLCs, gauging equipment and bolt-tightening systems.
5. Work with communication protocols such as Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus,



FTP and serial communication.
6. Set up and configure data management host servers for storing and analysing manufacturing test results.
7. Handle application development, debugging, installation, commissioning and customer-site deployment end to end.

What We're Looking For

1. Engineering degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics or a related discipline. Mechanical/E&TC; candidates will also be considered with relevant hands-on experience.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.
3. Strong hands-on programming skills in C or Visual Basic.
4. Familiarity with manufacturing test processes such as leak testing, gauging, engine hot testing or cold testing.
5. Working knowledge of instrumentation and sensors, including pressure/flow sensors, load cells, accelerometers, linear/rotary encoders, torque transducers and LVDTs.
6. Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
7. Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 50%) across India and internationally.
8. Must already hold a valid passport.
