Job Summary

This is a full-time in office role of an Architect Intern at Atelier Astil. The office is located in Bangalore.

Responsibilities

- Assist senior architects in developing design concepts.
- Help in drafting and rendering design ideas using software like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and concept development.
- Create and modify technical drawings and plans under the guidance of licensed architects.
- Update project documents, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Produce 3D models to visualize architectural designs.
- Render images and produce presentation materials to communicate design ideas to clients and team members.
- Prepare construction documents and assist in detailing for various projects.
- Participate in site visits to understand the construction process.
- Take field measurements and record observations for project updates.




- Assist with coordination between various consultants (e.g., structural, mechanical, electrical).
- Conduct research on materials, products, building codes, and sustainability practices.
- Analyze design precedents, building technologies, and site conditions to support the project goals.
- Help in organizing project files, drawings, and documentation.
- Assist in preparing documents for permits, zoning, and client approvals.
- Participate in team meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items.
- Gain exposure to best practices in design, documentation, and project management.
- Learn about local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations that influence design.
