Role & responsibilities

- Conduct laboratory-scale chemical reactions independently, following approved procedures and safety guidelines.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of organic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, and chemical synthesis.
- Apply spectroscopy techniques for the identification, characterization, and analysis of chemical compounds.
- Maintain accurate Laboratory Notebook (LNB) records, including experimental procedures, observations, calculations, and results.
- Perform reaction monitoring, work-up, isolation, purification, and yield calculations.
- Support process development, optimization, and troubleshooting of chemical reactions.
- Prepare and maintain experimental records, reports, and other R&D; documentation.
- Coordinate with analytical, production, and pilot plant teams for process trials and technology transfer.
- Follow laboratory safety practices, SOPs, and applicable quality requirements.
- Be versatile to work in all shifts as per departmental requirements.

Educational Qualification

M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry / Applied Chemistry or an equivalent relevant qualification.
