ABOUT THE ROLE
Workshop - Assistant Manager/ Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the motorcycle/scooter service workshop, ensuring high-quality repairs, efficient workflow, customer satisfaction, and achievement of service revenue targets. The role includes managing technicians, monitoring service quality, inventory control, and maintaining safety and operational standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Manage and coordinate all after-sales refurbishment activities for assigned projects/products.
- Ensure timely completion of refurbishment tasks within defined TATs.
- Coordinate with internal departments, service teams, vendors, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
- Handling the entire refurbishment workshop - end to end
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure refurbishment standards are met.
- Maintain proper documentation, reports, and status updates related to refurbishment activities.
- Address customer concerns, complaints, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Track pending issues and proactively follow up until closure.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, service standards, and safety guidelines
KEY REQUIREMENT
- Btech in mechanical engineering/ after sales operations
- Strong knowledge of motorcycle/scooter mechanics and diagnostics
- Leadership and team management skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Customer handling and communication skills
- Workshop planning and operational management
- Basic computer skills (ERP, job card management)
