AI Research Intern (LLM Training)
ParserBee · Internship · 2 openings · Remote (India) · Stipend: ₹12,000 to ₹15,000 per month
About ParserBee
ParserBee is an AI-powered document parsing platform. Businesses use it to turn messy, unstructured documents (invoices, purchase orders, bank statements, resumes and more) into clean, structured data they can send straight to Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable or their own systems. Our users range from developers wiring up automations to finance, HR and operations teams who have never written a line of code.
We are a small, early-stage team, which means interns work on real problems, see their work used, and learn directly from the founders.
The Role
We are hiring two AI Research Interns to work on the model training side of our AI. You will help us explore, experiment with and evaluate approaches to training language models so that they perform better on the kind of work ParserBee does every day.
This is a hands-on research role. You will spend most of your time reading, running experiments, measuring results honestly and sharing what you learn. The specific research direction will be shared with shortlisted candidates during the interview process.
What You Will Do
- Research current methods for training and improving language models, and summarise what is worth trying
- Prepare, clean and organise datasets for training and evaluation
- Design and run training experiments, then track and compare results carefully
- Build simple, repeatable evaluations so we can tell whether a change actually helps
- Write clear notes on what worked, what did not, and why
- Present findings to the team and suggest next steps
What We Are Looking For
Must have
- Prior hands-on experience training LLMs or other machine learning models. This can be from a job, an internship, research, coursework, a personal project, a hackathon or a Kaggle competition,
but it must be something you actually built and ran yourself
- Positive working knowledge of Python
- Familiarity with at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch preferred)
- A solid grasp of the basics: how models are trained, what overfitting is, and how to tell whether a model is getting better
- Curiosity, patience with experiments that fail, and the habit of writing things down
Nice to have
- Experience with the Hugging Face ecosystem or similar open model tooling
- Experience running training jobs on GPUs (local, Colab, Kaggle or cloud)
- Exposure to NLP, document understanding or OCR
- A GitHub profile, blog, paper or notebook that shows your work
College students are welcome to apply, as long as you have done real, hands-on LLM or model training work before. We care far more about what you have built than about your degree or year of study.
Internship Details

How to Apply Send your application to
[email protected] with the subject line "AI Research Intern: Your Name". Please include:
1. Your resume or CV
2. A cover letter (one page is plenty) that answers two questions:
- Why are you applying for this role?
- How can you contribute? Tell us about the model training work you have done before: what you trained, the data you used, what results you got, and what you would do differently next time.
- Links to your work, such as GitHub repositories, notebooks, Kaggle profiles, blog posts or papers (optional but strongly encouraged)
Applications without a cover letter will not be considered. Application deadline: 10 November 2026
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a short conversation about their past training work, followed by a discussion of the research direction.
