Role purpose

Designs and develops AI and ML workflows and predictive or prescriptive insights for warehouse and transportation operations, built on Celonis process context.

Key responsibilities

- Identify and assess AI and ML use cases with the business

- Define ROI, baseline and success measures before development

- Extend existing prediction models where available

- Develop models for shipment delay, milestone failure risk, dwell time, order ageing, and carrier and lane risk

- Develop prescriptive recommendations for operational intervention

- Design generative AI workflows to read shipment notes and carrier messages, categorise exceptions, explain missed milestones and draft follow ups

- Build on Celonis AI capabilities, including the Context Model, agents and Prediction Builder

- Use Celonis process context to engineer model features

- Configure human approval thresholds and action limits

- Implement model monitoring, drift detection and explainability

- Maintain decision logs,



audit records and model documentation

- Measure production outcomes against approved baselines

Required skills and experience

- 5+ years of AI, ML or data science experience

- Robust Python, SQL, statistics and feature engineering

- Experience deploying predictive models into production

- Knowledge of LLMs, RAG, prompt design, orchestration and agentic workflows

- Experience with explainability, monitoring, model governance and MLOps

- Working experience in AI ML workflow building in Process Mining environment

Preferred

- Supply chain or logistics analytics

- Celonis AI capabilities, such as agents, Process Copilot or Prediction Builder

Success measures

- Workflows and insights in production with quantified impact

- Models monitored and documented

- Outcomes measured against approved baselines
