Assistant Manager What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

Financial Outcomes

- Analyse accounts master, cost/ profit centre
- Review of SLAs and standards of the team
- Update processes, SOX, SLAs, standards in the system
- Review and approval of financial statements for statutory and regulatory reporting purposes
- Accountable for meeting and prioritising own targets/ deadlines and those of others within agreed standards and procedures
- Control the processing requirements within their area

During start-up phase, provide “hand on” General Ledger Accounting for complex transactions

Customer Service

- Perform Root cause analysis for SLA noncompliance and take corrective action
- Analyse and manage exceptions arising out of Auto posting of accounts
- Manage exceptions arising out of batch interface

Internal Processes

- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.




- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives within the RTR Function

Innovation and Learning

- Experience in a shared services or global finance environment.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and period close (e.g., TDS, GST in India).
- Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certification is a plus.

What are the Critical success factors for the Role?

- Master’s degree in commerce / CA / MBA in Finance
- 5+ years relevant experience
- End to end Knowledge of General Accounting process in the consumer products industry
- Knowledge of financial reporting close process in the consumer products industry
- Knowledge of financial processes and accounting
- Knowledge of SAP – ERP system

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?

- Experience in a shared services or global finance workplace.
- Knowledge of tax regulations related to vendor payments (e.g., TDS, GST in India).
- Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certification is a plus.
