Role : Manager/Sr Manager - Accounts Payable

1. Job Purpose The Manager / Senior Manager Accounts Payable will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function across all business units, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, JVs, payments and accounting entries.

The role will ensure strong controls over vendor payments, reconciliations, advances, ageing, 3-way matching, GST input tax credit and TDS compliance, while maintaining clean vendor ledgers and providing accurate AP schedules for month-end closing and audits.

2. End-to-End AP Process Ownership

Vendor Invoices 3-Way Match GST/TDS Vendor Reconciliation Advances Payments AP Closing The AP Manager will have end-to-end ownership and accountability for the above AP cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance and robust financial controls at every stage.

- Vendor Invoices: Ensure complete, accurate and timely receipt, scanning, verification and booking of vendor invoices.
- 3-Way Match: Ensure matching of PO, GRN/receipt and vendor invoice, wherever applicable, before processing for payment.
- GST/TDS:



Ensure correct GST, ITC and TDS treatment on vendor transactions.
- Vendor Reconciliation: Ensure vendor ledgers are reconciled regularly and all differences are identified and resolved.
- Advances: Monitor vendor advances, ageing and timely adjustment against invoices.
- Payments: Ensure payments are accurate, properly approved and made within agreed terms, with zero duplicate/excess payments.
- AP Closing: Ensure complete and accurate AP schedules, provisions, accruals, ageing and reconciliations for month-end closing and audits.

Qualification & Experience

- CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com / B.Com.
- 1015 years of relevant experience, preferably with 35 years in a supervisory/managerial AP role.
- Strong experience in Accounts Payable, vendor reconciliation, payment processing and month-end closing.
- Good knowledge of GST, ITC and TDS.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Strong ERP and Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in managing AP teams across multiple business units preferred.
