Tripathi Agarwal & Associates is a Chartered Accountancy firm in Kolkata. We provide accounting, GST, income tax and compliance services to businesses and individuals. We’re looking for a sincere, detail-oriented person to join our team and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

- Recording day-to-day accounting entries for clients in Tally (sales, purchase, payments, receipts, journals)
- Preparing bank reconciliation statements
- Preparing and filing GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconciling with GSTR-2A/2B
- Helping prepare and file Income Tax Returns for individuals and businesses
- TDS work: calculating TDS, making challan payments and helping file TDS returns
- Maintaining client records, documents and filing deadlines
- Coordinating with clients to collect invoices, bank statements and other documents




- Helping with finalisation of accounts and audit work when needed

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (debit/credit, ledgers, trial balance)
- Working knowledge of Tally (TallyPrime preferred)
- Basic understanding of GST, Income Tax and TDS
- Familiarity with the GST portal and the Income Tax e-filing portal
- Comfortable with MS Excel (basic formulas, data entry)
- Good communication in English, Hindi and/or Bengali
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and respect for deadlines

Qualification

- B.Com / M.Com (Accounts or Taxation preferred)
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / semi-qualified candidates are welcome
- Freshers with strong basics may also apply
