What You Will Do

- Build and maintain Power BI data models, reports and executive dashboards for project governance, resource utilisation, demand, capacity and forecasting.

- Connect and transform data from Excel, SharePoint Online, SQL databases and other approved sources using Power Query and SQL.

- Create DAX measures, drill-through views, security roles, refresh schedules and performance-optimised reporting models.

- Automate recurring data updates, approvals, alerts and notifications using Power Automate.

- Build or enhance straightforward Power Apps and SharePoint-based solutions for PMO data capture and workflow needs.

- Use Python scripts, APIs or React-based components when standard Power Platform capability is not sufficient.

- Work with PMO, Project Managers, HR and Operations to clarify requirements, prototype solutions and incorporate feedback.

- Validate and reconcile data, manage access controls, document solutions, support users and deliver controlled enhancements.

What You Must Bring

- 4 to 6 years of IT experience, including hands-on development of reporting, analytics or business solutions.

- Strong Power BI capability across data modelling, DAX, Power Query, interactive reporting, Row-Level Security, publishing and scheduled refresh.

- Working knowledge of SQL and relational data, with the ability to query,



validate and reconcile reporting data.

- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, analytical functions and Power Query.

- Ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions and explain them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong analytical thinking, ownership, data accuracy and documentation discipline.

Additional Skills That Add Value

Candidates are not expected to be experts in every area below. Relevant working exposure is an advantage:

- Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint Online and Dataverse.

- Basic Python scripting and basic React or web development.

- Power Platform application lifecycle management, Dev/Test/Prod promotion, Git or Azure DevOps.

- Microsoft Fabric, Azure services, REST APIs, custom connectors, Copilot Studio or AI-enabled automation.

- PMO processes such as project governance, RAID, resource forecasting and utilisation reporting.

- IT services or consulting experience; relevant Microsoft certifications, especially PL-300.

- Less manual effort in recurring reporting and approvals.

- Well-documented, secure and supportable solutions.
