Position: Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, GST-related activities, billing, and accounts reconciliation. The candidate should have experience in wholesale trading or distribution businesses and be capable of independently handling routine accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain daily accounting entries and financial transactions.
- Handle purchase bills, sales invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Monitor daily cash transactions and maintain petty cash records.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.

2. GST & Taxation

- Handle GST billing and invoice preparation.
- Assist in GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B) and related documentation.
- Verify purchase and sales invoices for GST accuracy.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Maintain records for GST input tax credit reconciliation.

3. Inventory & Stock Accounting

- Maintain stock and inventory records for toys and related products.
- Monitor purchase, sales, stock movement, and closing stock.




- Coordinate with the warehouse and sales team for stock reconciliation.
- Identify stock discrepancies and report them to management.

4. Financial Management

- Prepare outstanding payment and collection reports.
- Follow up on customer payments and vendor dues.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Assist in monthly closing and financial statement preparation.
- Track business expenses and maintain supporting documents.

Required Skills
- Positive knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Hands-on experience in Tally Prime / Tally ERP.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of inventory and stock accounting.
- Good numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate financial records and meet deadlines.

Qualification & Experience
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in wholesale, trading, distribution, or retail businesses will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate
- Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.
- Able to independently manage day-to-day accounting activities.
- Good coordination and follow-up skills.
- Experience handling high-volume purchase and sales transactions will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
