About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our CA & Insolvency Practice. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in accounting, GST compliance, TDS, income tax return filing, and statutory compliance. The candidate should be proficient in Tally and MS Excel and capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting and taxation-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain and manage day-to-day accounting transactions using Tally.
2. Prepare, file, and reconcile GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
3. Handle GST-related compliances, reconciliations, and activities on the GST portal.
4. Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filings.
5. Assist with preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR).
6. Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documents.
7.



Perform bank reconciliation and account reconciliation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Approximately 2 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
- Working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.
- Practical knowledge of GST returns and the GST portal.
- Understanding of TDS compliance and return filing.
- Experience in Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation and filing.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Commerce or Accounting.
- Experience in a CA firm, accounting firm, or taxation consultancy will be preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in GST, TDS, and ITR compliance will be given preference.
