Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Executive role based in Chennai.

The Account

Executive will manage relationships with existing and new clients, handle inquiries, and provide timely quotations and service information.

Responsibilities include coordinating with operations teams to ensure smooth pickups, deliveries, and documentation, monitoring shipment status, and resolving service issues. The role also involves preparing reports, maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, and supporting billing and collections activities.

Executive will contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities to upsell services and improve customer retention.

Qualifications

- Strong client relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic knowledge of transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations, including documentation and coordination processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfort working with CRM or billing software.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills for handling shipment issues and customer queries.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Commerce, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation services is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages in Chennai is beneficial.
