Profiles Educational Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to guide students and parents in selecting suitable higher education courses and colleges.
The ideal candidate should have experience in student counselling, admission guidance, lead follow-up and converting student enquiries into confirmed admissions.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling
- Counsel students and parents about courses, colleges and career opportunities.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds and career preferences.
- Explain eligibility, admission procedures and fee structures.
- Recommend suitable educational opportunities.
Lead Management & Follow-up
- Handle incoming student enquiries and assigned leads.
- Conduct regular follow-ups through calls and meetings.
- Convert interested enquiries into counselling appointments and applications.
- Maintain strong relationships with prospective students and parents.
Admission Coordination
- Guide students through application and admission procedures.
- Assist with document collection and verification.
- Coordinate with partner colleges and admission teams.
- Track applications until admission confirmation.
Performance & Reporting
- Achieve individual counselling and admission targets.
- Maintain accurate student records in the CRM.
- Monitor pending enquiries and follow-up schedules.
- Submit daily and monthly performance reports.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in educational consultancy, student counselling, admissions or education sales preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in Malayalam and English.
- Strong convincing, negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle students and parents professionally.
- Good computer knowledge and CRM/data management skills.
- Comfortable working with performance targets.
