Key Responsibilities

- Architect and implement scalable data solutions leveraging Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data strategies, pipelines, and integration frameworks.
- Optimize ETL workflows, data lakes, and machine learning environments for performance and reliability.
- Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
- Lead migration initiatives from legacy data systems to Databricks and cloud-native platforms.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in big data, AI/ML, and cloud ecosystems.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and real-time streaming solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Delta Lake, MLflow, and advanced analytics frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting databases Proven experience in data engineering, data management, or Dev Ops roles.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Pyspark, Python, C#, Scala or Power BI Expertise and experience with data storage technologies (e.g., Azure Data stack, SQL on VM and cloud storage solutions such as Azure)
- Proven experience using ADF/Spark/Glue/Databricks at a high level Experience with data orchestration tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow) Expertise in version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines




- Extensive knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Azure and AWS Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to lead the development and implementation of complex and multi-faceted data projects
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills coupled with the ability to recommend and develop process improvement strategies
- Organizational skills with the ability to lead the development and implementation of complex and multi-faceted data projects
