Job Title: Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Planning Lead
Base Location: Gurugram
Work Location: Offshore (Gurugram), with onsite travel to Dubai, UAE
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: 8-10 Years
Positions: 1
Domain: Oracle Fusion SCM – Demand, Supply & Replenishment Planning
Reporting into: Project Manager
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planning Lead with 8-10 years in Oracle supply chain, including hands-on Oracle Fusion SCM Planning delivery. The ideal candidate will have led demand, supply and replenishment planning workstreams on full-cycle Fusion implementations and can run design workshops directly with business users. In this role, you will be deployed on an Oracle Fusion engagement for a quick service restaurant (QSR) client in the Middle East, owning planning process discovery and solution design for a multi-outlet supply chain from demand signal through to store replenishment. Delivery is primarily offshore from Gurugram, with onsite presence in Dubai for requirement gathering, UAT, cutover and go-live.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Process Discovery & Solution Design
• Lead requirement gathering workshops with business users and translate outcomes into Fusion solution designs and configuration documents.
• Map as-is and to-be planning processes across demand, supply and replenishment, identifying gaps and recommending fit-to-standard options.
• Define the planning data flow across Inventory, Procurement and, where applicable, central kitchen or manufacturing operations, including planning data collections.
• Advise the client's supply chain team on leading practice for high-velocity, short shelf-life planning.
B. Oracle Fusion SCM Planning - Configuration
• Configure Planning Central, Demand Management, Supply Planning and Replenishment Planning in Oracle Fusion SCM, as in scope.
• Set up planning parameters, forecasting methods, safety stock policies, reorder points,
sourcing rules and assignment sets.
• Configure plan inputs, plan options, measures and planning tables, and tune plan outputs with the business.
• Design exception management and alerts so planners act on exceptions rather than reviewing every item.
C. Testing, Cutover & Go-Live
• Build test scenarios, drive SIT and lead UAT with client planners through to functional sign-off.
• Support data migration validation for items, organisations, sourcing rules and historical demand.
• Support cutover planning, go-live and post-go-live stabilisation through hypercare.
D. Workstream Management & Collaboration
• Produce functional specifications, configuration workbooks, SOPs and user training material.
• Maintain workstream status, RAID items and timelines, and report progress to engagement leadership.
• Work with technical consultants on integrations, reports and extensions required by the planning design.
• Guide and review the work of junior consultants on the workstream where assigned.
Requirements
Must Have
• Oracle Fusion SCM Planning: Hands-on configuration of Planning Central, Demand Management, Supply Planning and/or Replenishment Planning on live implementations.
• Implementation lifecycle: At least two full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementations in a planning lead or senior planning role.
• SCM fundamentals: Working knowledge of Fusion Inventory, item and organisation structures, and the order-to-cash and procure-to-pay touchpoints into planning.
• Planning concepts:
Strong grasp of forecasting, safety stock, lead times, sourcing and replenishment logic.
• Workshop leadership: Proven ability to run client-facing design workshops and drive decisions with business users.
• Documentation: Solid skills in functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows and UAT scripts.
Good to Have
• QSR, food service, retail or FMCG background particularly perishables, short shelf-life and multi-outlet replenishment.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Sales & Operations Planning or Supply Chain Collaboration.
• Exposure to Oracle EBS ASCP or Demantra, and EBS-to-Fusion migrations.
• Middle East or GCC delivery experience.
• Oracle Fusion SCM or Supply Chain Planning certification.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business or a related field; an MBA in Operations is a plus.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in Oracle supply chain consulting, with recent hands-on Fusion SCM Planning delivery.
• Minimum 2 full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementations with ownership of the planning workstream.
• Experience at an Oracle SI/implementation partner or IT consulting firm is strongly preferred.
• Oracle certifications are a plus but not mandatory if hands-on experience is demonstrable.
Additional Requirements:
• Valid passport and willingness to travel to Dubai (UAE) for critical milestones - requirement gathering, UAT, cutover and go-live.
• Willingness to work hours overlapping the UAE business day when coordinating with client teams.
• Solid spoken and written English, with the confidence to work directly with client business users.
• Candidates will be interviewed by the client's onsite team before deployment.
• Ability to own the planning workstream end-to-end with minimal supervision.
