Position: Accounts Payable Specialist

Qualification: Diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education

Experience: Two or 5 of accounts payable or general accounting experience, preferably supporting a manufacturing operation, or a client or affiliate in another country

Location: Cochin

Salary: As per industry

Key Responsibilities

- Process and validate vendor invoices through AP systems.
- Perform PO, GRN and invoice matching and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor invoice workflows and ensure timely processing and payments.
- Handle vendor queries and resolve invoice/payment-related issues.
- Maintain vendor master data and support vendor onboarding.
- Prepare payment batches and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile vendor statements and transparent outstanding/aged items.
- Support month-end AP closing, accruals and reporting.
- Maintain accurate AP records for audit and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution.
- Follow AP controls, procedures and confidentiality requirements.
- Identify process improvements and support AP automation/system enhancements.
