Mandatory Profile Criteria

- 8+ years of hands-on enterprise network operations experience; profiles with only monitoring, ticket logging, or basic troubleshooting experience will not be considered.
- Must have worked as an L3 Network Engineer / Senior Network Engineer / Network SME, handling complex escalations independently.
- Robust hands-on expertise in Routing & Switching, including configuration and troubleshooting of:
- BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
- VLAN, STP/RSTP/MSTP
- HSRP/VRRP
- LAN/WAN and data-center network environments

- Mandatory hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switches, including configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and production support.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM, including virtual servers, pools, nodes, monitors, persistence, iRules/basic traffic management, troubleshooting, and change implementation.
- Must have experience resolving P1/P2 production incidents, performing root-cause analysis, and owning escalated tickets through closure.
- Experience in network design, implementation, migration, upgrades, and change management is required-not only BAU monitoring/support.
- Must have worked in a 24x7 enterprise production environment and be comfortable with the IST shift: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM.
- Strong communication skills are mandatory, as the resource will interact with US stakeholders and technical teams.

JD-

Responsibilities:

- Serve as a Senior Network Engineer/SME supporting enterprise network infrastructure and operations.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for complex network incidents across LAN and WAN environments.
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise Routing & Switching solutions.
- Administer, support, and troubleshoot F5 load balancing and application delivery solutions.
- Participate in network deployments, upgrades, maintenance activities,



and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional technology teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Own and document escalated support tickets and service requests through resolution using Service Now or similar ticketing platforms.
- Ensure network configurations comply with established standards, policies, and change management processes.
- Participate in root cause analysis, network performance monitoring, and operational reporting.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and support a 24x7 production environment.
- Demonstrate solid communication, presentation, and customer service skills while working with technical and non-technical audiences.

Basic Required Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience supporting and managing enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructures.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Routing & Switching technologies in large enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including:
- VLANs
- STP/RSTP/MSTP
- HSRP/VRRP
- OSPF
- BGP
- EIGRP

- Hands-on experience administering, configuring, and troubleshooting F5 Load Balancers (Required).
- Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting methodologies and performance optimization.
- Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL and Change Management processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service,

Highly Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Cisco and Aruba networking solutions.
- Experience supporting enterprise wireless environments.
- Experience with Riverbed technologies.
