Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Functional Lead with strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), SAP Quality Management (QM), and SAP PP-PI. The candidate will lead functional design, configuration, integration, and optimization of SAP solutions for complex manufacturing environments, improving warehouse efficiency, production quality, inventory accuracy, and end-to-end process integration.

Experience

8–12 years of relevant SAP experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP EWM solutions for manufacturing warehouse operations.
2. Optimize inbound, outbound, internal warehouse movements, inventory accuracy, and material flow.
3. Manage SAP EWM integration with ERP and related modules to ensure reliable data exchange and transaction processing.
4. Configure and support SAP QM quality notifications, defect tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution workflows.
5. Design and maintain production inspection processes, including inspection plans, characteristics, results recording, and usage decisions.

Maintain SAP QM master data, including inspection catalogs, codes, inspection methods, and related configuration.
7. Collaborate with SAP PP-PI teams to align process orders, recipes, batch management, and manufacturing instructions with warehouse and quality processes.
8. Ensure end-to-end traceability from raw material receipt through production to finished goods.
9. Lead functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for EWM, QM, and PP-PI scenarios.
10. Troubleshoot functional issues, manage incidents and change requests, and implement sustainable solutions.
11. Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and user procedures.
12. Work with technical teams on enhancements, reports, and interfaces to deliver scalable SAP solutions.
13. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, quality performance, and manufacturing processes.
14. Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support.

Required Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM and SAP QM.
- Practical experience with SAP QM quality notifications and production inspection processes.
- Valuable understanding of SAP QM master data and configuration.
- Experience integrating SAP EWM with SAP PP-PI and related manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of batch management, process orders, and recipe management.
- Experience in process or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Certifications

SAP EWM certification preferred. SAP QM or SAP Production Planning certification relevant to manufacturing solutions is an added advantage.
