Job description

We are looking for a meticulous Hindi and English Proof reader to review and refine our K-12 textbooks, workbooks, and digital educational resources.

Key Responsibilities

Verify Academic Content: Review textbooks, teacher guides, and student workbooks to eliminate grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors.

Ensure Curriculum Alignment: Check that lesson numbers, chapter titles, table of contents, and index pages match perfectly.

Cross-Reference Answer Keys: Methodically solve or cross-check math problems, science questions, and quiz answers against the provided answer keys to guarantee accuracy.

Maintain Editorial Consistency: Ensure all content adheres to specific educational style guides and internal brand guidelines across different grade levels.

Format & Layout Audits: Inspect visual elements, ensuring captions, charts, maps, and illustrations align correctly with the surrounding text.

Collaborate with Teams:



Work closely with developmental editors and designers to resolve text discrepancies or formatting issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree.

Experience: 1-7 years of proofreading or copyediting experience, preferably within K-12 educational publishing, academic publishing, or curriculum development.

Subject Matter Familiarity: Basic comfort checking content across various subjects (Math, Science, Social Studies, English, Hindi etc).

Pedagogical Awareness: Understanding of age-appropriate vocabulary, tone, and readability levels for different student age groups.
