Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, and result-oriented Telecounsellor to join our educational institute. The candidate will be responsible for contacting prospective students and parents, explaining courses and programs, addressing queries, generating admissions leads, and converting enquiries into successful admissions.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to build relationships with students and parents over phone calls.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents from the database of enquiries and leads.
- Handle inbound calls and respond to course-related enquiries.
- Explain the institute's courses, programs, fee structure, eligibility criteria, and admission process.
- Understand students' educational backgrounds, career goals, and learning requirements.
- Counsel students and parents regarding suitable courses and career opportunities.
- Follow up regularly with interested students to convert enquiries into admissions.
- Schedule campus visits, counselling sessions, and admission appointments.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, and student interactions in CRM or Excel.
- Achieve daily, weekly,



and monthly calling and admission targets.
- Share feedback and admission updates with the admissions team.
- Maintain professional communication and build a positive image of the institute.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good convincing, negotiation, and counselling abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, Email).
- Ability to handle student and parent queries patiently.
- Solid follow-up and lead conversion skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated personality.
- Fluency in English and Hindi (additional regional languages are an advantage).

Preferred Experience

- Prior experience in telecalling, educational counselling, sales, or admissions will be preferred.

- Student counselling and appointment conversion.
- Lead-to-admission conversion ratio.
