Leasing Assistant – Real Estate

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, organised and target-oriented Leasing Assistant to support our real estate leasing operations.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying prospective tenants, generating leasing opportunities, connecting with businesses and institutions, coordinating property visits, maintaining client databases and assisting in closing commercial and residential leasing transactions.

The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, confidence in speaking with decision-makers and an interest in the real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tenant & Lead Generation

- Identify and generate potential tenant leads for commercial and residential properties.
- Research companies, institutions, brands, hospitals, schools, colleges, banks, retail chains and other businesses looking for rental spaces.
- Identify companies planning expansion into Lucknow and nearby locations.
- Build and maintain a database of prospective tenants and leasing requirements.

2. Business Development & Calling

- Contact prospective tenants through phone calls, emails and other communication channels.
- Introduce available properties and understand their space requirements.
- Connect with business owners, expansion managers, administration heads, facility managers and decision-makers.
- Follow up with interested prospects and convert enquiries into genuine leasing opportunities.

3. Property & Client Coordination

- Share property details, photographs, videos, layouts and commercial proposals with prospective tenants.
- Coordinate property inspections and site visits.
- Understand client requirements regarding location, carpet area, built-up area, budget and lease duration.
- Coordinate between property owners, prospective tenants and the internal team.





4. Market Research

- Research market rental rates and competing commercial properties.
- Identify new companies and brands entering or expanding in the region.
- Track leasing requirements and market opportunities.
- Prepare reports on potential tenants and upcoming business expansions.

5. CRM & Reporting

- Maintain an updated database of leads, calls, follow-ups and client requirements.
- Record every interaction and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Prepare daily and weekly activity reports.
- Maintain a systematic pipeline of prospective tenants and ongoing negotiations.

Required Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in making outbound calls.
- Good research and lead-generation abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Qualified email and WhatsApp communication.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to negotiate and build professional relationships.
- Target-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

- Graduate in BBA, MBA, Marketing, Sales or any relevant field.
- Freshers with excellent communication and research skills are welcome.
- Previous experience in real estate, leasing, sales or business development will be an advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be evaluated on:

- Number of qualified tenant leads generated.
- Number of decision-makers contacted.
- Number of genuine leasing requirements identified.
- Number of follow-ups completed.
- Number of property visits scheduled.
- Number of proposals shared.
- Contribution towards successful lease closures.
