Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Production Process Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the automobile or automotive components industry. The candidate will be responsible for improving production processes, ensuring product quality, reducing process losses, and maintaining efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and improve production processes for automotive components.

- Monitor daily production activities to ensure productivity and quality targets are achieved.

- Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Reduce rejection, rework, scrap, and production downtime.

- Prepare and maintain process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and process flow charts.

- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Production, and other departments to resolve process-related issues.

- Support new product development, process trials, and production line setup.

- Monitor process parameters and ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards.

- Participate in continuous improvement activities, including 5S, Kaizen,



and Lean Manufacturing.

- Support internal, customer, and quality system audits, including IATF 16949 requirements where applicable.

- Analyze production data and prepare reports on productivity, rejection, and process performance.

- Ensure safe working practices and adherence to company procedures.

Required Qualifications

- B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in production or process engineering.

- Experience in the automobile or automotive components manufacturing industry will be preferred.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and process improvement techniques.

- Understanding of quality tools, 5S, Kaizen, and root cause analysis.

- Knowledge of SOPs, process flow diagrams, and control plans will be an advantage.

- Positive communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with experience in automotive OEM or Tier-1/Tier-2 manufacturing companies will be preferred.

- Practical knowledge of production line improvement and rejection reduction.

- Familiarity with IATF 16949 and customer-specific quality requirements is desirable.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: ₹22,680.00 - ₹26,538.00 per year
