Summary

This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day stockroom operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, preservation, identification, and issuance of engineering spares, materials, and supplies. The incumbent will maintain inventory records, perform stock transactions in ERP, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The role supports the Stockroom Supervisor in achieving inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and effective warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities for Stockroom Coordinator

Manage material receiving, storage, preservation, issuance, and inventory transactions as per SOP.Perform ERP transactions, GRN processing, and maintain accurate documentation and records.

Support daily stock control, inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, FIFO compliance, and traceability.Monitor stock levels and report shortages, discrepancies, and operational issues to the Stockroom Supervisor.

Assist in warehouse operations, housekeeping, GMP, food safety, and safety compliance activities.Support audits, physical stock verification, pallet inspections, and RGP/NRGP documentation.

Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams for material requirements.

Assist in training, orientation, and supervision of warehouse associates and contractors.Ensure PPE compliance and adherence to statutory, safety, and operational requirements.





Identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory and provide operational support to the Stockroom Supervisor.

Typical Education

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor’s degree in science, Commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain, Material Management, or related discipline.
- Diploma/Certification in Stores, Material Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management preferred.

Relevant Experience

- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in stores, warehouse, inventory management, or engineering stores.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Good knowledge of inventory management, stock control, FIFO, GRN processing, and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, 5S, and safety requirements.
- Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Solid attention to detail and record-keeping capabilities.
- High level of integrity and accountability.

- Hands on experience in inventory control and computerized inventory systems
- Knowledge of warehouse and transport operations
- FMCG exposure
- Overall Supply Chain knowledge gained through certification
- Accounting / Clerical background advantageous
- Familiar with or capable of learning the JDE system
- Advanced computer literacy across MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
