Job Overview

Webskitters Academy is looking for an experienced and technically strong Technical & Academy Operations Head to lead technical academic coordination and day-to-day Academy operations.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Computer Science / IT, along with experience in technical training, academic coordination, faculty management, and operational processes.

The role requires someone who can ensure academic quality, monitor training delivery, identify operational gaps, improve processes, and align technical programs with current industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical & Academic Management

- Provide technical oversight for CSE and technology-focused programs.
- Review curriculum, lesson plans, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Ensure course content aligns with current industry requirements.
- Monitor the quality of technical and practical training.
- Identify curriculum, faculty, and student learning gaps.
- Support faculty with technical and academic challenges.
- Conduct technical sessions and workshops when required.

2. Academy Operations

- Monitor batch schedules, faculty allocation, and class execution.
- Track faculty and student attendance.
- Monitor syllabus progress and course completion.
- Coordinate assessments, assignments, projects, and practical sessions.
- Ensure adherence to academic timelines and processes.
- Identify and resolve recurring operational issues.

3. Monitoring & Reporting

- Prepare regular academic and operational dashboards and reports.
- Track batch-wise syllabus progress and student performance.
- Monitor faculty utilization and delivery effectiveness.
- Analyze student feedback, assessment results, and attendance trends.
- Report key issues, gaps, and corrective actions to management.

4. Gap Analysis & Process Improvement

- Identify academic, operational, and process gaps proactively.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and assess academic/business impact.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Identify opportunities for automation and technology adoption.
- Develop and improve SOPs, workflows,



and monitoring mechanisms.
- Track the implementation and effectiveness of improvement initiatives.

5. Industry & Technology Alignment

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry requirements, including:

- AI/ML and Generative AI
- Cloud Computing
- Cybersecurity
- Full-Stack Development
- DevOps
- Data Science and Data Engineering
- LLMs and RAG

Recommend relevant curriculum and training enhancements based on industry demand and student employability requirements.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of Computer Science and Engineering fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of C/C++, Python, and Java.
- Data Structures & Algorithms.
- DBMS and SQL.
- Operating Systems and Computer Networks.
- Web Technologies.
- Software Engineering and SDLC.
- Git and GitHub.
- AI/ML, Cloud, and GenAI fundamentals.
- Understanding of LLM and RAG concepts.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint.

Note: Expertise in every technology is not mandatory. Strong CSE fundamentals and the ability to evaluate technical programs are essential.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, CSE, IT, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc., or relevant technical certifications will be preferred.

Experience Required

9+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Technical Training / Teaching
- CSE / IT Industry
- Academy / Training Operations
- Academic Coordination
- Technical Program Management
- Academic Quality / Process Improvement

Candidates with a combination of technical industry experience and academic/training operations will be preferred.
