Job Title: Manager on Duty (MOD)

Reports To: General Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Manager on Duty (MOD) is responsible for overseeing daily operations during their assigned shift, ensuring smooth business functioning, excellent customer service, staff performance, and operational efficiency. The MOD acts as the main point of contact for employees and customers, handles operational challenges, resolves customer complaints, and ensures that company policies and standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations

- Supervise and manage daily operations during the assigned shift.
- Ensure all departments are functioning smoothly and efficiently.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and discipline.
- Ensure proper shift handovers and operational communication.
- Conduct regular operational inspections.

2. Customer Service

- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- Take immediate action on customer feedback and service-related concerns.
- Ensure customer expectations and service standards are consistently met.

3. Team Management

- Allocate duties and responsibilities to team members.
- Monitor employee performance and productivity.
- Motivate and guide employees to achieve operational targets.
- Support staff training and development.




- Maintain discipline and a positive working workplace.

4. Sales and Revenue

- Monitor daily sales and operational performance.
- Encourage the team to achieve sales targets.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue.
- Monitor upselling and cross-selling activities, where applicable.

5. Safety and Security

- Ensure workplace safety and security procedures are followed.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards.
- Report accidents, incidents, and emergencies to management.
- Ensure company assets and equipment are properly maintained.

6. Reporting and Administration

- Maintain daily operational reports.
- Monitor cash handling and billing procedures, where applicable.
- Report operational issues to senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation and shift handover reports.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- Previous experience in operations, hospitality, retail, or customer service management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Basic computer and reporting skills.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
