FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE DEPARTMENT9. Waiter / Server (Steward)

Department: F&B; Service | Reports to: Captain / Restaurant Supervisor | Grade: L1 | Type: Full-time, shift basis

Job Purpose: To provide friendly, accurate and efficient food and beverage service to guests in the restaurant, bar and room dining.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up tables, mise-en-place and the service station before service.

- Welcome guests, present menus, take orders accurately and serve as per standards.

- Know the menu, ingredients, allergens and daily specials.

- Process orders through the POS and deliver bills correctly.

- Clear, reset tables and keep the outlet clean and hygienic.

- Handle guest requests and feedback politely; inform the Captain of issues.





- Follow food safety, personal hygiene and fire safety guidelines.

Qualification & Experience: 10th/12th pass or Hotel Management certificate; 0–1 year experience.

Key Skills: Service etiquette, communication, memory, speed, teamwork.

Performance Measures: Order accuracy, guest feedback, upselling, hygiene compliance.
