Position: Elderly Caretaker (Attendant)
Location: Krishna Nagar, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh
Duty type: 24-hour, live-in (stays at the home)
Starting salary: ₹20,000 per month
Employment: Full time, permanent
Start date: Immediate / as soon as possible

Personal care

- Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and hygiene, with dignity and patience
- Assist with changing diapers or using a commode if needed
- Keep the elder’s clothes, bedding and room clean

Health care

- Give medicines on time as per the doctor’s prescription and keep a easy record
- Check blood pressure, sugar and temperature as instructed
- Watch for changes in health and inform the family immediately
- Accompany the elder to doctor visits, tests and hospital when required

Food and nutrition

- Serve meals, tea and water on time, following any diet advised by the doctor
- Feed the elder if they cannot eat on their own
- Prepare simple meals if needed (can be discussed with the family)

Mobility and safety

- Help the elder to walk, sit, stand, move from bed to chair and do prescribed exercises
- Prevent falls and keep walking paths clear and safe
- Stay alert at night and respond when the elder needs help





Companionship

- Talk, listen and spend time with the elder; support daily routines such as puja, walks, TV or bhajan
- Be calm and respectful, including when the elder is irritable or confused

Emergencies

- Stay calm in an emergency, call the family and doctor or ambulance at once, and give basic first aid

Requirements

- Experience caring for elderly or bedridden persons preferred; a sincere fresher with the right attitude may also be considered
- Basic knowledge of patient care, such as lifting, turning, hygiene and giving medicines
- Able to read prescriptions and medicine names, and to use a BP and sugar machine
- Physically fit and able to lift and support an elder
- Speaks and understands Hindi
- Honest, patient, polite, clean and trustworthy, with no addiction to alcohol, tobacco or gutka
- Willing to stay at the home 24 hours and respond at night
- Identity proof (Aadhaar) and local references or police verification required
- Basic nursing or caregiver training is an added advantage
