Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our Land Development (LD) team. The ideal candidate will have experience in U.S. Land Development projects, robust analytical and calculation skills, and a solid understanding of stormwater management and drainage design. The candidate should be capable of independently performing engineering calculations, developing effective design solutions, resolving technical challenges, and collaborating with project teams to deliver accurate, efficient, and high-quality engineering designs.

Role & Responsibilities

- Perform hydrology, stormwater runoff, drainage, and hydraulic calculations, including HGL analysis.

- Develop stormwater drainage designs and support detention/retention pond and outlet structure design.

- Perform water quality calculations and support Best Management Practices (BMP) design.

- Prepare and review engineering calculations and construction drawings.





- Identify technical issues and develop effective design solutions.

- Coordinate with project teams to ensure design accuracy and quality.

Required Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

- 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in U.S. Land Development projects.

- Strong calculation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.

- Familiarity with HydroCAD, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, or similar design tools is preferred.

- Ability to understand engineering requirements and execute design assignments with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

A technically strong and detail-oriented engineer with sound engineering fundamentals, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to contribute to Alada’s in-house Land Development design capabilities.
