Job Description: Part-Time Accountant / Data Entry Operator

About the Role

Panchmukhi Textiles is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant / Data Entry Operator to manage routine accounting entries, maintain business records and assist with day-to-day documentation related to our textile trading and knitted-fabric business.

Key Responsibilities

- Enter sales invoices, purchase bills, payment receipts and expense vouchers in Tally Prime.
- Maintain customer and supplier ledgers and outstanding payment records.
- Prepare and maintain sales, purchase, stock and payment-related Excel reports.
- Verify invoices, delivery challans, purchase orders and other supporting documents.
- Assist with bank statement reconciliation and identify discrepancies in accounting entries.
- Maintain accurate records of fabric transactions, job-work details and supplier/customer accounts.
- Track pending payments,



outstanding balances and supplier dues.
- Assist with GST-related accounting entries and maintain records required for GST compliance.
- Coordinate with the team to ensure that accounting data and business documents are updated on time.

Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or data entry.
- Working knowledge of Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of sales, purchase, debit/credit notes, ledgers and bank reconciliation.
- Basic knowledge of GST and invoicing.
- Good numerical accuracy, attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Prior experience in textiles, trading, wholesale or manufacturing will be preferred.
