To manage resale, redistribution, and optimum utilization of gemstone inventory by coordinating with vendors, jewellery manufacturers, planning teams, and internal stakeholders to minimize inventory holding and maximize stock utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage resale and redistribution of surplus gemstones across vendors and business units.
- Monitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete gemstone inventory.
- Identify opportunities for inventory optimization.
- Coordinate with jewellery vendors for resale requirements.
- Maintain accurate resale inventory records in ERP.
- Prepare ageing reports and inventory utilization dashboards.
- Support liquidation of non-moving gemstones through approved channels.
- Coordinate inter-vendor stock transfers.
- Validate resale quality before dispatch.
- Ensure traceability of gemstones during resale transactions.
- Coordinate financial reconciliation related to resale transactions.
- Generate MIS reports for management review.
- Participate in inventory audits.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control SOPs.
