About the Role
The Social Plug is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for social media and digital marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form videos.
- Create engaging promotional videos, UGC ads and brand content.
- Add transitions, captions, subtitles, sound effects and background music.
- Work on video hooks, pacing and storytelling to improve audience engagement.
- Edit long-form videos when required.
- Coordinate with the social media and creative teams.
- Follow creative briefs, meet deadlines and deliver quality work.
- Maintain organized project files and share editable source files when required.
Requirements
- Basic to good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut or similar editing tools.
- Understanding of social media trends, Reels formats and short-form content.
- Valuable sense of storytelling, timing, transitions and visual presentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines remotely.
- A portfolio or sample editing work is preferred.
- Freshers with relevant skills and a strong portfolio can also apply.
