Responsible for operating conventional milling machines to manufacture precision engineering components as per engineering drawings, specifications, and required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate conventional milling machines safely and efficiently.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and dimensions.
- Perform milling, slotting, facing, drilling, boring and cutting operations.
- Select suitable cutters, tools and work-holding arrangements.
- Set up jobs and ensure proper alignment and clamping.
- Check dimensions using vernier calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Follow production schedules and complete jobs within the given time.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic machine maintenance.
- Report machine breakdowns, tool damage and quality issues to the supervisor.
- Follow workplace safety rules and maintain 5S standards.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
