Job Title: Site Engineer – Civil & Interior Projects
Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Site Engineer to manage and supervise day-to-day site activities for civil and interior projects. The candidate should have good knowledge of construction drawings, BOQ, site measurements, labour management and project execution.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily site activities for civil and interior works.
- Execute work as per approved drawings, BOQ and project specifications.
- Read and understand architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Take site measurements and verify quantities of completed work.
- Manage and coordinate labourers, contractors and subcontractors.
- Monitor daily work progress and ensure timely project completion.
- Prepare material requirements and coordinate with suppliers.
- Monitor material usage and control wastage.
- Check the quality of work and ensure proper finishing.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, project managers and clients.
- Identify site issues and find suitable solutions.
- Maintain daily site reports,
labour attendance and work progress records.
- Update management regularly regarding project status, delays and requirements.
- Ensure proper safety and housekeeping at the project site.
Skills Required:
- Good knowledge of civil construction and interior execution.
- Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation and site measurements.
- Experience in handling labour and contractors.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and site reporting.
- Ability to independently handle site responsibilities.
Qualification:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Relevant experience in civil and interior projects preferred.
